 What You Will Do

You will be joining the Sales and Marketing team to drive growth in the U.S. defense market for Korry Electronics. In business since 1937, Korry has been a trusted provider of flight deck lighting, computing, and control solutions in commercial and military aircraft. You will partner with the business unit leaders, operations, customer service, inside sales, and other functions to develop offers for our customers—from early lead to award phase. This role is intended to have growth potential and could lead to wider responsibilities in the organization.



Primary Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement the sales action plan required to meet and exceed bookings goals.
  • Identify key customer contacts and help Korry build relationships across the customer organization.
  • Provide accurate forecasting for short- and long-term bookings and maintain a sales funnel.
  • Deliver pricing recommendations and ensure the right business conditions are in place before submitting bids and accepting awards – an eye for detail is critical here!
  • Review contracts and ensure internal flow down of requirements, including meeting with stakeholders to ensure timely execution.
  • Troubleshoot and remedy customer problems within established guidelines and escalate when needed.
  • Coordinate communication and audits with local DCMA as needed.
  • Ensure accurate written agreements between Korry and the customer.
  • Communicate and present critical data, market analysis, and go-to-market recommendations to all levels of management.
Preferred Education and Experience: 
  • Bachelor's Degree, MBA a plus.
  • Track record of sales accomplishments, preferably in electro-mechanical components and systems for aerospace and defense.
  • Willingness to learn and to experiment to improve sales process.
  • Prior key account management experience is desired.
  • Solid understanding of US government and contractor procurement processes.
  • Experience leading defense sales with prime contractors and government agencies.
  • Excel capability (for example, model out total value of 3 pricing scenarios for a bid package)
  • Proficiency in networking and the ability to build lasting customer relationships.
  • Ability to travel as required, up to 40% of the time.
Salary Range:
Please note the typical hiring range is $100,000 - $150,000 annually. Job offers within the range are based on significant job qualifications and pay equity. This is position is eligible for bonus based on performance.
