 What You Will Do:

In this role, you will serve as the technical lead within our electrical engineering team, focusing on product development and resolving sustaining engineering issues.


Primary Responsibilities
  • Technical lead on sustaining issues and projects.
  • Analyze sustaining issues and define solutions using root cause analysis and problem-solving methodology.
  • Troubleshooting electrical schematics and circuit boards at the component-level with minimal supervision.
  • Responsible for engineering and production test procedures, execution, and test reports.
  • Responsible for obsolescence replacement analysis and qualification. 
  • Responsible for generating obsolescence reports for our customers.
  • Drive continuous process and productivity improvements for sustaining and production.
  • Prepare and present technical information internally and with customer.
  • Support the proposal team with evaluation of the technical constraints and effort to bring projects to completion.
Preferred Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
  • 7+ years designing electronic circuit boards in a process-controlled environment.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Excellent team player.
  • Knowledge of process-heavy design environment.
  • Excellent root cause analysis and problem solving skills.
  • Digital and analog circuit design and analysis skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work in a fast paced, high product mix environment.
  • Thorough understanding of formal configuration management.
  • Strong experience with electronic design tools (ePADS, Xpedition, PSpice,…).
  • Must be familiar with EMI mitigation design concepts.
  • Knowledge of data concentrator units a plus.
  • Experience with DO-160, DO-254 and MIL-STD-704/461 is a plus.
  • Knowledge of product life cycle flow management.
  • Excellent oral and written communication.
Salary Range:
  • Please note the typical hiring range is $130,000 - $180,000 annually. Job offers within the range are based on significant job qualifications and pay equity.
