What You Will Do
As Business Development Manager, you will report to the Director of Sales, and be responsible for driving growth by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and developing strategies to enter new markets. You'll partner with cross functional business unit team (Business Unit Leader, sales, operations, and engineering), generate new business, prepare proposals, as well as develop and maintain customer relationships.
Primary Responsibilities:
Please note the typical hiring range is $85,000 - $125,000 annually. Job offers within the range are based on significant job qualifications and pay equity. This is position is eligible for a performance-based bonus.

What You Will Do
As Business Development Manager, you will report to the Director of Sales, and be responsible for driving growth by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and developing strategies to enter new markets. You'll partner with cross functional business unit team (Business Unit Leader, sales, operations, and engineering), generate new business, prepare proposals, as well as develop and maintain customer relationships.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conducting market analysis to identify emerging trends, potential customers, and competitive landscape.
- Develop and execute business development strategies to enter new markets, expand existing accounts, and achieve revenue growth targets.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at aerospace OEMs, suppliers, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Partner in the creation of detailed proposals, presentation and bid packages to secure new business opportunities.
- Work closely with engineering, productive development, business unit and sales teams to align product offerings with customer needs and market demands.
- Monitor sales metrics and prepare regular reports on business development activities, pipeline status and revenue forecasts.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote products and services.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and advancements in technology that inform business strategy.
- Bachelor’s Degree, MBA a plus
At least 3 years of experience in functions ranging from sales, operations, finance or engineering, preferably from a manufacturing background - Prior leadership experience is a plus
- Advanced Excel and analytical skills, and an ability to synthesize data by asking the right questions
- A proactive, positive, and customer focused attitude
- An action oriented and ownership mindset
- A strong work ethic and lots of energy, the ability to think critically and to solve problems
- Tremendous organizational skills
- Ability to travel as required up to 30% of the time
