 What You Will Do:
As our accounting intern, you will work to improve our on-time payment to suppliers and clean up account reconciliation. This is an onsite position, reporting to the Cost accounting manager. 

Primary Responsibilities
  • Clean up invoiced receipts.
  • Work to improve our on-time vendor payment by reaching out to vendors and reconciling accounts.
  • Help the team on monthly reconciliation.
  • Work with the account receivable team to reconcile customer accounts.
  • Suggest innovative ideas to improve our processes.

Education
      Bachelor’s degree or last year of college in accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field


Experience
Previous related internships preferred.


Specialized Skills and Abilities
           Solid technical accounting skills

         Advanced Excel skills and the analytical skills to extract and interpret data. 

Physical Requirements:

Frequent use of personal computers, database and digital platforms, and other common office machinery.
Frequently uses hands, fingers, and arms to reach, handle, touch or feel equipment, materials, and computer.
The person in this position needs to frequently move inside the office



Work Environment:
  • This job operates in a professional indoor, climate-controlled office environment.
  • The office is an open concept with groupings of desks.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet, sometimes hearing office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and peers communicating. 
  • Within a short distance employees will have access to office supplies necessary to complete job.
  • Employees will have access to majority of building, including production area.

Salary Range: Please note the typical hiring range is $24.00 to $26.00 hourly. Job offers within the range are based on significant job qualifications and pay equity.
