AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE ADVISOR

Legacy Ford Ponoka is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. As a Service Advisor, you will act as the primary liaison between our customers and our service department, ensuring an exceptional service experience from start to finish. Your role will involve scheduling appointments, advising customers on necessary services, and maintaining strong communication with technicians to guarantee timely and high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

Customer Interaction: Greet customers warmly and professionally, listen to their vehicle concerns, and ensure a positive first impression.

Service Consultation: Assess customer needs, recommend maintenance or repairs, and explain service options, costs, and timelines clearly.

Work Coordination: Schedule service appointments and coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and efficient service.

Documentation: Prepare detailed service orders, maintain accurate customer records, and process payments efficiently.

Communication: Provide regular updates to customers on the progress of their vehicle and proactively address any questions or concerns.

Upselling Services: Identify opportunities to recommend additional services or maintenance based on manufacturer guidelines and vehicle history.

Problem Resolution: Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and ensure satisfactory resolutions.
Qualifications:

Previous experience in an Automotive Service Advisor role or related customer service position is an asset.

Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures.

Exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency with dealership management software (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds) is preferred.

A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
