Automotive Delivery Coordinator

Camrose Toyota is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Automotive Delivery Coordinator to enhance the vehicle delivery experience for our customers. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional service, skilled in communication, and knowledgeable about Toyota vehicles and features. This role ensures a smooth, personalized, and professional vehicle delivery experience, helping customers understand the features and benefits of their new or pre-owned Toyota vehicle. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Coordinate Vehicle Deliveries: Work with the sales and service departments to prepare vehicles for delivery, ensuring cleanliness, fuel level, and that any customer requests have been met. 

  • Customer Orientation and Education: Conduct vehicle walkarounds and demonstrations to familiarize customers with their vehicle's features, safety systems, and maintenance requirements. 

  • Photography and Online Listings: Take high-quality photos of vehicles and upload them to the dealership’s website or other online platforms, ensuring accurate and appealing presentations. 

  • Document Processing: Assist customers with any necessary paperwork or documentation to ensure compliance with legal and dealership standards. 

  • After-Sales Follow-Up: Engage in follow-up communication with customers post-delivery to address any additional questions or concerns, ensuring customer satisfaction. 

  • Vehicle Inspection: Perform pre-delivery vehicle inspections and document any issues, coordinating with the service team for repairs or adjustments if needed. 

  • Inventory Management: Collaborate with inventory and service teams to track vehicle delivery statuses and communicate updates to the sales team. 

  • Customer Service Support: Be a point of contact for customer inquiries regarding vehicle features, service appointments, and additional services such as accessories and maintenance plans. 

  • Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback to improve the delivery process, customer satisfaction, and dealership efficiency. 

Qualifications: 

  • Experience: Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably within the automotive industry, is a plus. 

  • Photography Skills: Basic knowledge of photography techniques for vehicle presentation, or willingness to learn. 

  • Product Knowledge: Familiarity with Toyota vehicles and their features is preferred, or a willingness to undergo training. 

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members. 

  • Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple vehicle deliveries efficiently. 

  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. 

  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with technology, including vehicle technology systems, dealership management software, and online platforms for vehicle listings. 

Working Conditions: 

  • Physical Requirements: This role requires standing for long periods and some work outdoors. 

  • Schedule: Availability to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours as needed.
