Parts Advisor – Legacy Dodge Wetaskiwin
The Parts Advisor & Accessories Specialist role is a hybrid position that combines a traditional parts advisor role with a social media–based sales focus for automotive accessories, repairs, and tires.

ResponsibilitiesParts Desk Duties

Greet customers professionally in person, over the phone, and online

Gather accurate vehicle and customer information

Receive and process orders via phone, email, and website chat

Clearly communicate pricing, availability, warranty information, and product options

Prepare and provide parts and labour quotes in a timely manner and ensure all quotes are entered into the system

Assist customers and internal team members with technical automotive and accessories knowledge

Assist customers (retail and internal service/sales departments) in identifying and sourcing correct parts and accessories

Process parts transactions accurately, including invoicing, returns, and warranty claims
-
Handle returns or product issues professionally and promptly

Work closely with technicians and service advisors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of parts

Prepare and organize parts shipments

Assist the Parts Manager with inventory accuracy, stock levels, ordering, and receiving

Maintain a clean and organized parts counter and storage area

Complete filing and general administrative tasks

Collect deposits and deliver exceptional customer service

Stay current with product knowledge, new releases, and promotions

Keep Service Management informed of any issues or potential concerns

Complete and maintain all OEM warranty training requirements
-
Complete all Health & Safety training on an annual basis

Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Report any situation that could impact the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, employees, or customers

Perform other assigned duties as required
Online Sales & Marketing

Source and respond to internet leads generated through social media advertising
-
Communicate with customers using Google Suite and social media platforms
-
Identify opportunities for additional services and accessories based on customer needs

Understand and promote in-house and third-party financing options for repairs and accessories
-
Assist the marketing team with advertising ideas and content creation when required

Liaise with the Service Department to schedule sold repair and accessory work

Act as an ambassador for the store and the Legacy Auto Group

Relevant knowledge and experience in automotive mechanical repair, installation, and vehicle modifications

Proven ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with customers and team members

Experience with social media management and content creation from a customer service or advertising perspective (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn)

Proficiency with Google Suite

Experience working with financing programs

Minimum of 1 year experience as a Parts Advisor or Accessories Advisor in the automotive industry

Strong knowledge of automotive systems and parts catalogues

Experience with parts warranty programs

Experience with PBS and Stellantis systems is considered an asset (training will be provided to the right candidate)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment

Strong computer skills, including dealership management systems

Health & Safety certifications such as First Aid, WHMIS, or TDG are considered an asset

Forward-facing customer service experience is required
-
Steel toe or composite footwear is required
