Position Overview
The Service Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the service department,
ensuring operational efficiency, exceptional customer satisfaction, and a high-performing
team environment. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise, a
deep understanding of Ford systems, and the ability to coach and develop staff.


Key Responsibilities
• Lead service technicians and advisors by setting clear performance goals and maintaining
   a positive, productive work environment

• Address customer concerns, resolve issues promptly, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
• Schedule maintenance and repair work, monitor turnaround times, and optimize shop workflow
• Monitor and improve technician efficiency, repair accuracy, and overall customer satisfaction metrics
• Ensure technicians are fully prepared with the required parts, tools, and information for each repair
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of all aspects of Ford warranty processes and ensure compliance
• Ensure all service work meets or exceeds safety standards and company quality guidelines
• Recruit, train, and coach team members on communication, technical skills, and company procedures
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality, accuracy, and adherence to company specifications
• Support technicians with complex diagnostics and repairs while staying current with evolving
    automotive technology

• Enforce safety regulations, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and ensure all equipment is safe to operate

Skills & Qualifications
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a high-performing team
• Ford Master Technician certification with applicable specialties
• Strong expertise in automotive diagnostics and repair
• In-depth knowledge of Ford systems, tools, equipment, and software
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technicians,      management, and customers
• Strong diagnostic, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
