Job Summary:
The McClure Company is searching for a Network Application Specialist in Harrisburg, PA.  This is a unique position that will be responsible for the installation, operation, license tracking, and user support of various software programs across the company. This includes but is not limited to, our Service dispatching application, SharePoint, various Estimation and PDF programs, and Office365.  This position will also aid in providing day-to-day HelpDesk support.   

This position provides a unique opportunity to grow and develop.  Learning new software, working with vendors, and the ability to maximize the capabilities of software and users will be key. 

Network Application Specialist Essential Functions:
  • Provide administrative setup, support, and training for our primary Service Department Dispatching software. 
  • Work with other team members to learn SharePoint and develop the corporate collaboration web site.
  • Track the licensing and distribution of software across departments/users.
  • Document software processes, build training materials, and respond to related requests for IT support.
  • Installation of server and desktop software.
  • Periodic travel to other McClure offices in PA.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience, technical skills & attributes:
  • Associated Degree in Information Technology.
  • Understanding of Office 365, SharePoint, and web-based applications.
  • Ability to quickly learn new software systems, stay informed, and install updates.
  • Ability to lead and provide training in group-based settings.
  • General knowledge of software integration
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with technology-based vendors.
  • Proficient with the management and use of the Microsoft Office 365 Suite.
  • Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift equipment.

Position is full-time Monday - Friday
