Weekend Special Needs Caregiver needed for a very happy, very active 16 year old boy with autism. Ideal candidate has prior experience working with non verbal autistic teenagers. Looking for someone who would enjoy participating in at least 2-3 hours per day of physical activities with him: get in the pool and swim with him; join him on the ice for his (very beginner) skating lesson; dribble and shoot hoops with him to build on his (very beginner) basketball skills; take him on trail walks or (along with another caregiver) on bike rides.



  • Pay: $30-$35 per hour 
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Hours: 10am-10pm, two weekends per month (Saturday and Sunday)
  • There is flexibility for more hours if candidate is available
  • Benefits: health insurance, paid holidays and vacations
  • Live-in accommodations: private bedroom and bathroom
  • Work vehicle is provided
  • Looking for a long term commitment

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and vehicle
  • Must have relevant experience
  • Must be active
  • Must be a good swimmer
  • Provide 3-5 professional references
