Commodity Bus Driver (Salinas-Sanborn)

 
GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Responsible for transporting employees and materials between various locations safely and efficiently. This role will ensure timely arrivals and departures while maintaining and upholding safety standards at all times.    

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS / DUTIES OF THE POSITION:
•    Drive employees to and from field to drop-off locations.
•    Daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus to ensure it is in proper working condition, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
•    Uphold a clean and organized bus interior, including regular cleaning and sanitization to ensure passenger health and safety. 
•    Maintain continuous supply and restocking of essentials in the portable restroom,
•    Replenish drinking water during high heat periods.
•    Other non-piece rate duties as assigned.

JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES:   PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 
•    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, bend, stoop, kneel and sit.  The employee must occasionally 

WORK HOUR & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 
•    Ability to travel to other facilities and offices.
•    Ability to work long days including weekends.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
•    Relevant work experience Required 
•    CHP Driving Certification Required
