RN (Crisis / Residential Recovery Unit) (Mt. Sterling, KY)

Salary - $55,000 - $63,875
Educational Requirements: This position requires an Associate Degree or higher in Nursing. The RN should have or plan to obtain Psychiatric Mental Health Accreditation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center immediately followed being hired. Employees will comply with all supervision requirements of their respective Board. Must Complete 40 Hour Crisis Training and All required Relias trainings.
Duties/Responsibilities: This position is a supportive medical staff for the Crisis Residential Recovery Unit. The RN must maintain the Medication Administration Record of each consumer and complete accurate documentation of the home medications, as well as complete current records of assistance with medication administration. Duties also include a physical assessment of each consumer admitted to both units including a Nurse's assessment documented at admission for ASAM level 3.5 consumers, Initial Diagnostic Assessment to the Crisis Unit or Residential Units, Treatment/Service Plan Review., Continuing Care and Termination Summary. The RN is also responsible for conducting Group Therapy on each unit daily with associated documentation, taking vital signs and accompanying consumers to medication evaluations with the prescriber. The RN Assists the Prescriber as necessary and helps to oversee that the medical director's standards of care are met.
Experience Required: 2 Years Experience working with SUD or SMI Preferred. Familiarity with inpatient, outpatient, or residential SUD treatment preferred. Knowledge of ASAM Dimensional Assessment preferred.
