Salary:  $40,000

Educational Requirements: Candidate can be PSS certified with lived experience with youth mental health or have a BA in a related human services field.
 
Duties/Responsibilities:  The TAY Coordinator shall oversee and coordinate the continuum of services and supports for youth and young adults between the ages of fourteen (14) and twenty-six (26) who either have, or are at risk of developing, serious behavioral health (mental health and/or substance use) conditions including SED and SMI. The TAY Coordinator shall collaborate and coordinate with other programs that have contact with TAY individuals including, but not limited to SMI and other adult services, SED and other children’s services, SUD treatment services and Prevention services.

The TAY Coordinator shall work to collaborate within and outside the agency in order to build the capacity within the region to provide excellent supports and services for the TAY population between fourteen (14) and twenty-six (26) years old. The TAY Coordinator will provide consultation, referral, education, training, technical assistance, coaching, outreach and system development within the regional Community Mental Health Center (CMHC) community in order to increase seamless and easily accessible supports for TAY.

 
Experience Required: 
  • Experience in program management.
  • Experience in collaboration with interagency teams and leadership activities.
  • Expertise in the field of youth and young adults with serious behavioral health/co-occurring disorders.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to negotiate and facilitate.
  • Cultural sensitivity and competence and with TIC skills. 

Work Schedule: A minimum of 37 ½ hours a week - Hours may vary and is at discretion of the program director.
