Salary – $55,000- $65,000

Education Requirements:  Bachelor’s Degree and CADC license with approved supervisor status or Masters Degrees and license in Human Service Field. A working knowledge of the Twelve Step recovery process is necessary

Duties/Responsibilities: This position delivers support to consumers and providers in the Crisis or Residential Recovery Unit, Children's Crisis Unit or other Residential Recovery Centers.  Provider will supervise Peer Support Services and TCADC Services delivered on site and off site.  This position provides direct care to consumers in the Crisis or Residential Units, will also observe the consumer to ensure safe withdraw and therapeutic engagement of addiction meeting the client where they are in recovery. The provider observes the consumer to ensure safe withdrawal, and therapeutic engagement of addiction meeting the client where they are in recovery.  Will also handle telephone contact for referrals, ensure and check proper admit / discharge of consumers along with necessary paperwork, process chart work and facilitate groups / individual therapy.  Provider may supervise associate licensure personnel and ensure appropriate documentation is maintained for supervision and provided to the board in a timely manner. This person will be able to demonstrate and consistently practice competency in the skills, knowledge and attitudes as outlined in Addiction Counseling Competencies: The Knowledge, Skills, and Attitudes of Professional Practice.  This staff will oversee National Suicide Prevention Line Calls and ensure follow up as needed. This staff will reassess client SNAP, Level of Care, Biopsychological factors, risk, and modify plan as needed while arranging changes to aftercare as needed. 

Special Experience / Skill Set Required: This position requires organizational skills, as well as knowledge and skills in coordination of client care.  An understanding and application of The Principles of Effective Treatment (NIDA NIH Publication No. 00-4180) are necessary to function in this role.
