Requirements/Licensures:
- High school diploma required.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, and Outlook) is necessary.
Duties/Responsibilities:
The PDS Financial Management Services Assistant will provide administrative support in assigned areas and work closely with the PDS Financial Management Services Supervisor to carry out a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
- Completing budget requests.
- Entering Purchase Authorizations (PAs) into the Avatar system.
- Verifying EVV (Electronic Visit Verification) claims using the SB's checklists.
- Keying time entries into the billing/payroll log.
- Assisting with payroll functions.
- Submitting billing to Medicaid.
- Addressing old and outstanding claims.
- Performing electronic cash posting for PDS and balancing postings to ensure accuracy.
Experience or Skill Set Required:
- Experience in an outpatient, inpatient, or residential Behavioral Health setting is preferred.
- Competence in using computers and electronic devices necessary for completing tasks.
- Strong written and oral communication skills are essential.
