Salary - $32,000 - $35,000

Educational Requirements:  The Operations Manager for the Genesis Recovery Kentucky Center should be a High School graduate. College Degree is preferred and have three years’ experience in general facilities operations This position requires organizational skills, as well as knowledge and skills in coordination of services.

Duties/Responsibilities:  This position is responsible for the general operation of the Genesis Recovery Kentucky Center, a Recovery Center of the Pathways Addiction Program. This position will work closely with the Program Director. Overall supervision of the Case Manager (onsite), Kitchen Manager, laundry, grounds maintenance, and up keep of the recovery center vehicles is also included in the responsibility of this position. This individual will be responsible for the administrative operations of SOS (Safe off the Streets). Provides supervision and scheduling of SOS monitors. Along with all Genesis Recovery Kentucky Center staff creates and maintains a consistent and nurturing environment for all clients.

Performance/Productivity Expectations: Peer Led, Peer Driven Social Model Program continuity. This person will be able to demonstrate and consistently practice competency in the skills, knowledge and attitudes as outlined in Addiction Counseling Competencies: The Knowledge, Skills, and attitudes of Professional Practice (CSAT TAP #21, 1998). Peer Led, Peer Driven Social Model Program continuity. Recovery Dynamics Certification. Coordinates with Pathways Facility Management to ensure timely property maintenance.

Required Experience:  Ability to work with persons in a manner that shows sensitivity to cultural diversity, sexual orientation and racial / ethnic differences. If in recovery must have maintained a minimum of continuous sobriety of two years and work an active recovery program. Ability to attain CPR and First Aid certification.

Work Schedule: The Operations Manager/SOS Coordinator is expected to work at least eight hour days and at least 40 hours a week as part of residential services. Extra and On call hours are required to expedite the duties of this position.
