Salary Range

$26,000 – $27,500 annually


Job Summary

The SOS/Detox Associate provides 24-hour center coverage within a Peer-Led, Peer-Driven Social Model Program by monitoring the SOS and MT dorm areas. This position serves as after-hours staff coverage and plays a critical role in maintaining a safe, structured, and recovery-focused residential environment.

The SOS/Detox Associate collaborates with program staff in client consultation and program development and provides mentoring, feedback, and recovery-based education to clients in coordination with the management team.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide continuous monitoring and supervision of SOS and MT dorm areas

  • Ensure client safety and adherence to program guidelines

  • Serve as after-hours staff coverage for the residential program

  • Provide peer support, mentoring, and recovery-based guidance

  • Collaborate with management and clinical staff regarding client progress and concerns

  • Assist in program development and implementation as assigned

  • Model appropriate recovery behaviors and professional conduct

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • College degree preferred

  • Ability to obtain and maintain:

    • First Aid Certification

    • CPR Certification

    • Food Handler’s Permit

    • Recovery Dynamics Certification


Experience & Skill Requirements
  • Ability to work respectfully and effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, sexual orientations, and racial/ethnic identities

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to maintain professional boundaries in a peer-based recovery setting

  • If in recovery, must have maintained a minimum of two (2) years of continuous sobriety


Work Schedule
  • Full-Time: 40 hours per week

  • Part-Time: 32 hours per week

  • Additional hours may be required as needed to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.
