Salary Range

$35.00 – $40.00 per hour


Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team. The Occupational Therapist will provide therapeutic interventions to assigned consumers based on occupational performance deficits in areas including personal care, personal roles, interaction skills, process skills, play, community integration/work, and graphic communication.

This role focuses on helping individuals increase independence, improve daily functioning, and enhance overall quality of life through evidence-based occupational therapy practices.


Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate consumers to identify occupational performance deficits

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

  • Provide therapeutic interventions addressing:

    • Personal care and daily living skills

    • Social interaction and communication

    • Process and cognitive skills

    • Play and developmental milestones

    • Community integration and work readiness

    • Graphic communication skills

  • Document evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with regulatory standards

  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members

  • Maintain compliance with state licensing and professional standards


Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy required


Certifications & Licensure
  • Certified and Licensed as an Occupational Therapist

  • Active licensure with the Kentucky Board of Licensure for Occupational Therapy


Special Experience / Qualifications
  • Experience working with neurodiverse children preferred, but not required

  • Strong understanding of child development and sensory processing interventions is a plus

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team


Skills & Knowledge
  • Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Competency in using computers and electronic health record systems

  • Ability to maintain accurate and timely documentation

  • Professional judgment, ethical practice, and cultural sensitivity
