Salary: $35,000 – $40,000
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Must obtain and maintain certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- Candidates not certified at hire will receive training and must successfully pass the RBT exam to continue employment
Position Overview
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides direct behavioral intervention services to assigned clients using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. This role works under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and plays a key part in supporting client progress and treatment goals.
- Deliver behavioral interventions in accordance with individualized treatment plans (Plan of Care)
- Implement ABA sessions using Behavior Skills Training (BST) techniques as directed by a BCBA
- Maintain an assigned caseload and ensure timely, accurate, and compliant documentation
- Monitor client progress and report observations to supervising BCBA
- Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and ethical guidelines
- Seek consultation or make referrals when client needs fall outside the scope of behavioral services
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in behavioral health or ABA services preferred, but not required
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently while following structured treatment plans
Technical Skills
- Basic proficiency with computers and electronic systems for documentation and daily tasks
