Duties/Responsibilities:  This position provides support to consumers in the Residential Plus Unit.  The associate will assist the counselor with the observation of the consumer’s safe and therapeutic withdrawal; assist with the handling of telephone contacts; assist with admission and discharge of consumers; help with processing of chart work; may co-facilitate groups; and will be available for coverage needed for holidays, sick leave and vacation days.  All other duties as outlined in Job Description.        
 
Skills/Knowledge:            Must have a minimum of one (1) year sobriety if recovering.  The Associate should possess or demonstrate a willingness to develop a working knowledge of substance abuse treatment, resources, and self-help groups.
