We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control associate that is responsible for managing inventory accuracy of raw Materials, Packaging Components, Labels, and Finished Goods flow through entire cycle from Sales Order creation to Final Shipping of Finished Goods to Customers. This is a very high profile position within our organization. It requires interface with multiple departments. This position demands exceptional organizational skills and the drive to work in a fast pace and challenging environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  •  Works closely with Warehouse, Production, QA, QC, and Planning to maintain accurate inventory. 
  • Releases labels from quarantine bins upon request.
  • Performs daily review of raw materials, packaging components, and label allocation through demand verses MRP Planning ensuring accurate purchase of quantity required to fulfill Sales Orders.
  • Creates sibling codes and maintains Bill of Materials accuracy.
  • Closes batch records (Sales Orders).
  • Provides expired raw materials information to warehouse Lead & personnel to process on time.
  • Updates Standard Operating Procedures as required.
  • Takes corrective action for expired raw materials & components by making proper adjustments.
  • Performs administrative tasks such as reports, data entry, and documentations as required.
  • Performs inventory adjustments in BME system, including Active and Non-Active item maintenance.
  • Verifies internal raw materials transfer for accuracy and completeness through ERP system.
  • Supports cycle counting program, maintains physical inventory accuracy & adjustments.
  • Reports issues to management, prepares reports and completes documentation as required.
  • Perform other projects and duties as assigned by management. 
  • Follows/enforces that everyone adheres to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s), Standard Safety Practices, and all company policies/procedures. 
  • Completes other projects and duties as assigned by management. 

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business and/or related experience is required.
  • 1-2 years of work experience in a related field in a manufacturing environment.
  • Computer Skills (Advanced) – MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), advanced knowledge of Data Analytics Tools such as PowerPivot and Power BI) a plus.
  • Communication Skills (Oral/Written) - able to speak clearly, concisely and accurately in order to ensure effective department operations, to include translation of analytical reports to communicate findings, and make recommendations for improvement.
