The Production Supervisor I is fully responsible for decision making on behalf of Robinson Pharma, Inc. in 
regards to the necessary procedures and controls to ensure product safety, uniformity/potency of the 
products, and the safety of all department team members. 
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Schedules production and/or makes adjustments to ensure due dates are met and products meet customer requirements.
  • Assists with/supervises the setup, operations, and monitoring of all Powder equipment and machines.
  • Assists with/supervises the cleaning of department production area per SOP's.
  • Assists with/supervises machine cleanliness while running a product within specified guidelines.
  • Participates in continuous improvement by making suggestions in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of department.
  • Oversees production team to ensure that written batch record instructions are followed. 
  • Independently makes machine adjustments as necessary to keep products within required specifications as outlined in the production batch record.
  • Checks/verifies that products are properly labeled/containers are filled per batch record instructions.
  • Oversees the preventive maintenance of department machines/equipment as outlined in the SOP's.
  • Crossed trained in all functional areas of the department to identify and operate different types of equipment to fill in when needed.
  • Checks/verifies that all required production records and documents are completed.
  • Works closely with R&D and QA to properly identify production problems and makes sound decisions on how to correct such problems within the boundaries of procedures and regulations.
  • Observes the production team to ensure they exercises care in use of equipment and maintains a clean, organized work area at all times.
  • Follows/enforces that everyone adheres to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), Good 
  • Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s), Standard Safety Practices, and all company policies/procedures. 
  • Works with R&D to run pilots as needed.
  • Reviews and approves the creation/validation of methods used in production of products.
  • Completes other projects and tasks assigned by the executive management team. 
Qualifications:
  • 2 years plus in supervisory role with previous manufacturing experience in same or similar industry. 
  • Ability to use calculator to add, multiply, subtract and divide decimals and basic units of measure.
  • Communication Skills (Oral/Written) - able to speak clearly, concisely and accurately in order to ensure effective department operations.
  • Computer skills (Intermediate) – MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ERP systems.
