We are looking for a Weigh Up Associate to join our team!
The Weighing Associate performs weigh-up duties such as inventory control, weigh/measurement of materials and transfer/distribution of raw materials, order pulling, and preventative maintenance of weigh-up equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Processes receipts into the system and verify material counts versus packing list.
- Weigh and measure materials.
- Operates scale, balance, and computer.
- Labels materials so they are easily identifiable.
- Puts away property into proper stock locations.
- Maintains a clean work area.
- Reads and understands SOP, GMP, & Safety Rules.
- Handles heavy-weight materials using a pallet jack and proper lifting techniques.
- Assists with product movement on the factory floor as required ensuring optimal space utilization.
- Assists with cleaning, packing and shipping functions as needed
- Communicates and works with all Quality Control personnel, Warehouse and Weigh-Up departments.
- Follows/adheres to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s), Standard Safety Practices, and all company policies/procedures.
- Completes other projects and duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- 6 months - 1 year of relevant work experience preferred
- Must be able to drive and operate a forklift and pallet jacks.
- Able to understand warehouse functionalities of in & out.
- Communication skills - communicates clearly, concisely and accurately in order to ensure effective department operations. Bilingual Vietnamese/English is plus
- Detail Oriented - pays close attention to detail, accuracy and completeness, double checking their work.
- Honesty/ Integrity - follow through with company values and providing exceptional quality products.
- Safety – follows and demonstrates awareness of Robinson Pharma’s safety policies and procedures of self and others.
- Teamwork/Cooperation - ability to work well with others in a group and cooperates with others.
- Time Management - ability to organize and use time effectively leading to increased productivity on the job.
- Demonstrate good attendance and punctuality.
