The Customer Service Assistant will perform necessary tasks and general duties to assist the Customer Service Department. Will manage orders that provide delivery to customers, ensure orders are selected, packaged, loaded, and dispatched safely, timely, efficiently, and economically, and maintain proper records. Under organizational goals, provides direction to the team on activities and behaviors. Identifies and analyzes problems; plans tasks and solutions.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Processes customer orders via phone, fax, and the internet.
- Follows up with customers on quotes, orders, issues, and potential business.
- Provides exceptional customer service, including professional communication via phone, email, and fax.
- Maintains department profitability through research, analysis, trending, defining problems and solutions.
- Works with customers, associates, sales team and managers to plan and forecast future business.
- Sets objectives, plans, follows up to ensure all goals are met on time.
- Communicates and works with all operational areas within Robinson Pharma, Inc
- Will work with Department Heads, Associates, Customers, and Vendors to drive sales, ensure high levels of customer service, and solve complex problems.
- Communicates with customer daily on orders, quotes, issues, and future business.
- Assist Customer Service Department with delegated tasks and other duties
- Professional phone manner and ability to work independently.
- Coordinates between the Shipping Department and the Customer.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma/GED and/or some college.
- 1-3 years of Customer Service work experience.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent Communication Skills - able to speak clearly, concisely and accurately to ensure effective department operations. Bilingual: Vietnamese (conversational) & English is a plus.
- Computer Skills (Intermediate level) proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook).
