The Warehouse Driver is responsible for the delivery and pick-up of materials from and to all facilities as needed and performing warehouse functions as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Transports/picks-up raw materials, components, finished products and/or equipment between facilities.
  • Completes vehicle inspection before and after use and logs inspection per reporting requirements.
  • Processes and receives inbound shipments.
  • Operates forklift to load and unload materials from vehicle.
  • Pulls, bundles and ensures properly packed materials.
  • Verifies outbound transfer orders for accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintains records of received, transferred, and shipped products.
  • Completes preventive maintenance on all forklifts per requirements and arranges/schedules for repairs when needed.
  • Maintains safe vehicle conditions and protects load by complying with organization policies/procedures and California highway rules and regulations.
  • Maintains good housekeeping and sanitation of the warehouse, vehicles/forklifts at all times.
  • Communicates with vendors and coordinates pick up or delivery of goods and/or raw materials.
  • Maintains records by: completing driver logs, obtaining shipper/receiver authorizations, and filingdocuments appropriately.
  • Follows and adheres to all safety rules when driving company’s vehicles/forklifts and using pallet jacks.
  • Local travel required to/from vendors’ and all company facilities.
  • Follows/adheres to Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), Standard Safety Practices, and all company policies/procedures at all times.
  • Completes other projects and tasks as assigned by management.
  • Must be able to work an hour early as needed.
  • May also assist with errands, deliveries, and other tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and experience driving in various conditions.  
  • 2+ years of driving experience required.
  • Valid Class C California Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
  • Able to operate a forklift and know DOT regulations.
  • Communication Skills - communicates clearly, concisely and accurately in order to ensure effective department operations. (Bilingual Vietnamese/English is plus)
  • Detail Oriented - pays close attention to detail, accuracy and completeness, double checking their work.
  • Honesty/Integrity - follow through with company values and providing exceptional quality products.
  • Safety Minded – follows/demonstrates awareness of all safety policies/procedures of self and others.
  • Teamwork/Cooperation - ability to work well with others in a group and cooperates with others.
  • Time Management - organizes and uses time effectively leading to increased productivity on the job.
  • Values Diversity and Ethics - serves with integrity and respect in interacting with different ethnicbackgrounds, cultures, languages and values those differences. 
  • Mobility sufficient to safely move, walk, stoop, bend and kneel, and enter, exit and operate a motor vehicle in the course of travel.
