Maryville has been a leader in the senior healthcare community since 1963.  As our Staffing Coordinator, you will work with a team to staff and schedule direct care nursing staff for our 165 bed Nursing Home and 16 bed RCF Memory Care.  This position is full-time, Monday through Thursday, with on-call duties on working days and occasional weekends.
Other essential duties may include:
  • Create and maintain the clinical schedule for the facility (CNA’s and Nurses).
  • Ensure that the appropriate amount of staff are working each shift of every day.
  • Ensure accuracy of information entered into time and attendance program; make corrections as necessary.
  • Assist in pulling reports for monitoring of tardiness and overtime.
  • Manage use of temporary labor to ensure that there is little to none in the facility.
  • Maintain department records and reports.
  • Participate in administrative staff meetings and attend other meetings, such as seminars.
  • Maintain employee database and maintain/utilize OnShift scheduling program.
  • Communicate changes in personnel policies, as necessary.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in long-term care or other healthcare setting. Experience in a Staffing/Scheduling position within long-term care is a plus. They should enjoy problem solving and working in teams, be able to build positive working relationships, and possess excellent time management and organizational skills. Strong customer service and computer systems skills are required.
