Life Enrichment/Activities Coordinator - Memory Care (Beaverton, OR)

If that sounds like you, and if you have experience in long-term care, we would like to talk to you about our opening for a Life Enrichment/Activities Coordinator at Maryville Memory Care (MMC), a 16-bed RCF Memory Care facility on the tree-lined, 43-acre campus of the Sisters of St. Mary of Oregon in Beaverton.
Our Life Enrichment Coordinator is responsible for implementing an effective resident activities program that includes a variety of opportunities for meaningful participation by residents of all ages, interests, and physical abilities. The successful candidate will have experience working in long-term care or dementia care in a residential care or assisted living setting, certification or degree related to health and wellness or life enrichment is a plus. Demonstrated success at leading and building effective, cohesive teams is also a plus.
Other requirements include:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to organize/prioritize work, manage multiple tasks and projects, and function effectively as a self-directed leader of multiple initiatives.
- The ability to communicate respectfully and empathetically with residents, their family members, and staff at every level of the organization.
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications.
