Memory Care RN – Part-Time
We are seeking a part-time RN to work alongside the administrator in managing our beautiful residential
memory care facility. Maryville Memory Care is home to up to 16 older adults. In partnership with the
Memory Care Administrator, the Nurse will establish and support an inclusive, collaborative, respectful
working environment that attracts potential Residents, their family members, and high-quality
employees, and live out our mission to provide "Service with Love".
Qualifications:
• Previous experience working in the Assisted Living, Residential Care, or Memory Care setting.
• At least one year of supervisory and staff training experience.
• The ability to conduct geriatric nursing assessments.
• Knowledge of standards/practices and current trends in dementia care.
• The ability to assess, redesign, and implement care and operational processes and procedures
and train staff to follow them with the support of the administrator.
• Willingness to assist administrator to monitor clinical oversight with occasional on-call duties.
• The ability to communicate tactfully and compassionately and develop strong, positive
relationships with Residents, their families and other supporters.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Requirements include:
• A current and unrestricted Oregon RN license. May consider LPN depending on experience.
• Ability to complete background screening prior to hire.
• Pre-Service Dementia Care and Infection Prevention Training (can be completed at time of hire)
• First Aid and Abdominal Thrust Certification (within 30 days of hire)
• Include a proven track record of reliable attendance and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis.
