Balance Operator (Springfield, OR)

Large Global Paper Company seeking a highly skilled Balance Operator in Springfield Oregon. The position is day shift, Monday thru Friday, pay TBD by experience. The ideal candidate is experienced in 3-plane balancing on flexible motors, we also accept 2-plane balancing experience on rigid motors. If you possess these skills the Apply today! Responsibilities:

• Balance paper machine rolls to tolerance established by work order or supervisor.
• Transfer weights into shells, drill, tap and bolt into place
• Access inside of rolls to transfer weights
• Demonstrate mathematical skills and knowledge
• Take direction from supervisor

Requirements:

• Must demonstrate knowledge of machine processing, computers, mathematical skills
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints
• Vocational school training in machine shop practices or equivalent
