SUMMARY:
The Stock Associate will be responsible for processing shipment, preparing merchandise for presentation, placing new merchandise on the sales floor and replenishment of existing merchandise. They are also responsible for maintaining the stockroom and shipping merchandise.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES:
  • Unpack shipment, while ensuring the accuracy of merchandise received
  • Processes shipment by steaming, hanging, folding, sizing, stacking or other preparations needed so the merchandise is sales floor ready
  • Place new merchandise on the sales floor in accordance with moon map & visual standards
  • Replenish merchandise on the sales floor or retain in replenishment bins/shelves or racks
  • Remerchandise items on the sales floor while maintaining moon map & visual standards
  • Maintain stockroom by organizing, cleaning and adjusting replenishment inventory for optimal space
  • Ship merchandise to customer(s), store(s) and distribution center
  • Process and ship return to vendor items
  • Perform ecommerce checks
  • Markdown and retag merchandise
  • Support and partner with the manager on the execution of the bi-annual store inventory initiative
  • Occasionally assist customers, if Stylist are not available
  • Perform other duties related to the qualifications and requirements of the job, as directed by the manager on duty

EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPEREINCE:
  • Must be able to meet all physical demands to perform this job.
  • Prior retail sales associate or retail stockroom experience preferred but not required.  
  • Must collaborate and work well with others
  • Excellent time management, prioritization and organization skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must be able to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding and carry out instructions with minimal supervision
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Basic math skills required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand and walk most of the time and sit occasionally, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, read printed materials, hearing and speech to communicate with internal customers in person or over the telephone.   Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.  The employee must be able to see small objects down to small earrings/charms, etc.
The employee will exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 20 pounds of force frequently and 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to high.
