The Tamalpais is renowned as one of northern California's finest gastronomic experiences. It is also one of the area's most intimate and original hotels, with 32 individually designed guest rooms. The modern French menu at The Tamalpais has been described as "a twist of imaginative genius" and the cuisine is undoubtedly the focus of every guest's visit. The two-acre kitchen garden produces 90 types of vegetables and over 70 varieties of herbs, which are used in our kitchen. Executive Chef Pierre Blanc has been a champion of the organic movement for the last 20 years.
